Bushy plant up to 50cm in height. Anise is a dainty, white-flowered urnbelliferous annual, about 18 inches high, with secondary feather-like leaflets of bright green.

How to grow Anise Directly sow early in the season, cover lightly with soil. Thin to 18" apart in rows 12 inches apart. Doesn’t transplant well – sow where you want it to grow or transplant while the seedlings are small. Prefers full sun and well drained soil. Harvest after seeds have formed.
